Privacy Policy

I only collect information you choose to give me. I don't buy data lists or pull profiles from elsewhere.

Enquiry form (contact page):

• Your name and business name
• Your email address
• Your business type and how you heard about me (optional)
• Any details you type into the free-text fields

Referral form:

• Your name and email
• The name of the business you're referring
• Their best contact (email or phone)
• Any optional notes you add

Booking (via Calendly):

• Name, email, and any details you enter when booking a call

The cost calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type (enquiries per month, average client value) are never sent to me or stored — they stay on your device and disappear when you leave the page.

I use your information for a narrow set of purposes:

• To reply to your enquiry or referral, usually within 24 hours
• To arrange and hold the call you book
• To understand which services and pages are most useful (see the Analytics section below)
• To keep a record of our conversation if we go on to work together

I rely on your consent (you submitting the form) and, where we start a working relationship, on the legitimate interest of running that engagement. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@hothamai.com.

Enquiry and referral submissions are stored in a secured cloud database hosted by my platform provider (Lovable, operating on infrastructure within the EU/US). Access is restricted to me as the business owner. The database is protected by row-level access controls, meaning records can only be read and managed by authorised accounts.

Booking details entered through Calendly are held by Calendly under their own privacy policy. I receive your name, email, and any notes you share so I can join the call prepared.

I keep enquiry and referral records for as long as needed to respond and for a short period afterwards in case of follow-up. If we don't go on to work together, I'll delete your enquiry details within 12 months of last contact unless you ask me to sooner.

This site uses analytics (PostHog or Google Analytics, depending on configuration) to understand which pages and tools get used. Analytics records things like the page you visited, the calculator inputs you changed, and whether you clicked "Show me what I'm losing" or booked a call. It does not record your name, email, or any value you typed into a form field.

The calculator events capture interactions (field touched, CTA clicked, result viewed) but never the figures you entered, which stay in your browser only.

To run this site and respond to you, I rely on a small set of third-party tools. Each receives only what it needs:

• Lovable (database & hosting) — stores your enquiry and referral submissions so I can read and reply to them.
• Calendly — handles booking a call. It holds the name, email, and details you enter at booking.
• PostHog / Google Analytics — privacy-friendly analytics of site usage, as described above.

I don't sell your data, and I don't share it with anyone else unless you ask me to (for example, by referring a business — in which case I'll contact them, and only mention you sent me if you've said that's okay).

You're entitled to:

• Ask what data I hold about you and receive a copy
• Ask me to correct anything that's wrong
• Ask me to delete your data, and to stop contacting you
• Withdraw consent for me to hold or use your details at any time

To exercise any of these, email hello@hothamai.com and I'll action it within 30 days. You can also raise a concern with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you feel I haven't resolved it.

Access to enquiry and referral records is limited to me as the business owner, through authenticated accounts on a platform with row-level access controls. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but I've chosen tools that restrict access to authorised users only and don't expose records publicly.

This site and its services are aimed at business owners and operators. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has submitted a form, contact me and I'll delete it.

If I update how data is collected or used, I'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, flag it on the site. Checking back occasionally is a good idea.
